Welcome!

Welcome to "...Saturday life in a Michigan small town". On behalf of the greater Farmington community, we proudly invite you to discover the many attractions of our weekly Farmers and Artisans Market. Every Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm, May into November, brings scores of locals and visitors to our city center marketplace for a unique experience that we think is distinctly Farmington ... festive, vibrant, colorful and always fun.

At our market you will find fresh locally grown Michigan produce, locally prepared artisan foods and hand crafted originals for both home and garden. Take the time to stroll the market to find the perfect complement for your dinner table, pantry, porch and garden.

Here in downtown Farmington on any given Saturday, nestled between farm tables heaping with Michigan fresh produce, you will find fresh baked breads, rolls, croissants and bakery sweets among jams, jellies, fresh honey, hearty sauces, spices and oils. Take home fresh salsas, handcrafted pastas, fresh roasted coffee and tempting pies. If you truly enjoy fresh, local and in season then we have the perfect market for you!

Shopping the market is easy and fun especially if gifting yourself or saying thank you to that special someone. Share your market experience with fresh cut flowers, beautiful pots, elegant candles, fine photography, glass and garden works or maybe that special card, even a bottle of wine.

Make plans to gather with us. Tell a friend or better yet bring one. Come listen to the music, talk with our chefs, ask a farmer, watch the little sprouts play. Have lunch, shop around the downtown ... feel welcome and comeback often ... Philosopher Joseph Campbell says it best and simply, "... It is here, It is here, it is here ..."
2016 will bring fabulous top metro chefs to downtown Farmington along with soulful entertainers. Take a minute to click on our market calendar to find new and special events to go along with long standing traditions like our annual Farmers Market corn roast and Harvest Moon Celebration.

As we look forward to the 2016 season, the Market is proud to announce it's participation in the Senior Project Fresh Nutritional Assistance Program. In cooperation with the Michigan State Department of Human Services and the USDA. This program provides $20.00 worth of FREE fruits and vegetables to qualifying seniors 60 years and older.

For all that can be said and written, nothing says it all more beautifully than a heartfelt "...Come to market..."
