6/23/2018 - 5th Annual Strawberry Shortcake Day

This annual market tradition features farm fresh Michigan strawberries, fresh baked biscuits and house made creme freche from the farm kitchens of Kapnick Orchards!  A generous serving is $3 each or 2 for $5 served direct to you on the south bricks of the market till we run out....oh by the way we always run out...

6/30/2018 - The All American Farmers Market

Are you around town for the weekend? Stay-cationing? Stop by the farmers market for your grilling needs or for the special table gift if visiting with friends and family.   Grab a market fresh grillin' dog from the American Legion Grille team.  Let the kids cast their luck at "Go Fish" with Oakland County Parks mobile fun unit or how about fun with Kenbrook School's Koalabotz STEAM activity before running off to our market bounce house!

7/14/2018 - Farmers Market Week #9

Members of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce join us today to promote the Farmington Area Founders Festival, a long weekend of music, food and fun activities geared for all ages that takes place July 19-22. This year’s festival will take you back in time. Vintage campers and Airstreams will line Farmington Road for visitors to explore. That thoroughfare also will be transformed into a Vintage Marketplace featuring DIY projects, shabby chic designs, vintage decor, and upcycled and rustic creations. And, as always, there will be tons of fun activities for kids of all ages.

7/21/2018 - Founders Festival Farmers Market at the Huron River Club

The Farmers Market is proud to participate in the Farmington Area Founder's Festival. For the 5th consecutive year, the market will relocate to the prestigious Huron River Hunting & Fishing Club located at 22575 Farmington Road at Freedom Road. The setting is beautiful....come see...

7/28/2018 - Farmers Market Week #11

Expect an abundance of Michigan sweet corn and vine ripe tomatoes all from local farms and picked especially for the Farmington Market.

8/4/2018 - Polish Festival

Witamy! Welcome to our third annual Polish American Day at the Market, featuring made-to-order pierogi, polish sausage, potato pancakes, cabbage soup and more including authentic baked goods and treats. Savor the food while you enjoy Piwo and authentic polish beer specially brewed by the Farmington Brewery. With live music by the Kielbasa Kings and costumed dancers. it doesn't get any better. This event is absolutely delightful. Come polka in downtown Farmington!

Everybody will polka on August 4th at the 3rd annual Roll Out the Market Polish Fest! Live music, costumed dancers, made-to-order pierogi, Hamtramck's New Palace Bakery, Piwo! Enjoy a glass of a traditional polish beer crafted from smoked wheat made by the Farmington Brewing Co. and served at the market's Strawbale Inn.

8/18/2018 - 12th Annual Farmers Market Elks Community Corn Roast

Each year our farmers donate fresh picked Michigan sweet corn to the Farmington Elks for annual charity corn roast.  We call it the "buc-an-ear" corn roast...for $1 you get a fresh coal roasted ear of corn buttered and seasoned your way!  Arrggggh!  This is good time and a great tradition,
10am -2pm.  For added fun let off some STEAM at Kenbrook School's Koalabotz activity station!

August 18th brings the 12th annual Farmers Market Elks Corn Roast!  Our farmers donate fresh-picked-for-market sweet corn, and the Elks shuck, coal-roast, season and serve it to your liking for only $1 an ear with all proceeds going to charity!

8/25/2018 - Farmers Market Week #15

"It's the most wonderful time of the year..." applies here!  So much bounty from the fields- root vegetables, tomatoes, corn, cole crops coming, a full assortment of greens along with a new rotation of sweet corn...which just gets better as the season goes on!  Did we forget to say blackberries, peaches & apples?  Shop for artisanal foods from sauces to ciders, while you munch a fresh-made, hot-in-your-hand Petey's Donut.

9/1/2018 - Labor Day Weekend Farmers Market

In town for the weekend as the kids gear up for a new year at school?  Wake up your day at the market. We have a lot of vendors signed on for this market so be sure to pick up some grilling finds, table foods and pantry fare as yo prepare to kick back and s-t-r-e-t-c-h the weekend out....

9/8/2018 - Fall Feelings at the Market

Get your favorite sweater out and head to market while the Wolverines and the Spartans prepare for non-conference battle. The dog days are now but a whimper and a memory. You have spring in your step and a song in your heart....what better way to share your spirit than at the Farmers Market? We are community...

9/15/2018 - Farmers Market Week #18

Pick up tickets to the annual Harvest Moon Celebration at the Market information tent. Savor fall fare with a Petey's donut made on site and so good with fresh cider at the market. Hardy mums bring fall color along with hearty displays of harvest squash including an assortment of pumpkins!
Golden apples, nutritious breads, baked goods, fresh catch lakefish, locally butchered meat along with artisan handwork can be found while live music brightens the crisp day. Stop by the Market Information Tent to take a chance at winning the weekly market basket giveaway!

9/22/2018 - The Market of the Harvest Moon

Fall begins and brings with it the Market of the Harvest Moon, our biggest market of the year! isn't it your favorite time of year too? Things are changing...even the light of day as it filter through the trees seems different. Time to start thinking of cole crops- brussel sprouts, cabbage and hearty stock. Fall squashes will be on the march to market along with everybody;'s favorite, pumpkins...
We celebrate in grand fashion with fall decor, live music, children's activities and more including Kenbrook School's Koalabotz STEAM activity station!

9/29/2018 - Italian American Day

Join us at the Market for Festa Italiano as we bring a taste of Italy to downtown Farmington. We will open at 9:00 with a special blessing followed by a procession.  As the market bell rings enjoy live music, children's activities, our bounty of fresh Michigan produce, artisan originals and delicious prepared foods. Costumed dancers, robust singing, wood-fired pizza along with delicious pasta and specialty breads will headline this special day!  As the Amici band entertains with Italian classics, enjoy a glass of wine or beer at the market's 'Bella Cantina!'

On September 29th downtown Farmington is transported to Italy as we celebrate Italian-American Day, thanks to the Italian American League of Livonia and other proud Italian sponsors. Come enjoy Italian customs, foods, music, dancing and more at our bel mercato!  This will be an event like no other!

Not many weeks remain for you to stroll through the aisles of the Farmers Market. The nip in the air and the profusion of such fall produce as pumpkins and squashes tell you that our 25th season is winding down. These are precious days at the Market; don't miss them!

The Market's grand finale of special events, the annual Haunted Market is a trick or treat delight, and the whole town gets in on the fun. Come to Market to find a bouncy, pumpkin decorating, trick or treating at surrounding stores and scary market vendors. Come if you dare....

Farmington Farmers Market Holly Days

Coming December 1st Downtown Farmington presents Holly Days!

Join us at our special holiday market from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday December 2nd.   We will have fresh wreaths, roping, centerpieces and more from our Michigan farms.  Find firewood, artisanal gifts and gourmet specialty finds.  Strolling carolers, hot chocolate, a holiday train for the kids, free gift wrapping and adult beverages will make the start of your holiday season memorable.   Later in the day there will be a lighted parade (6 pm)  and a special tree lighting event ( 7 pm ) at the old Governor Warner Mansion.  Feel welcome to spend the day in downtown Farmington!
